Having your ducts cleaned can help eliminate those toxins for a more clear and healthy air flow.
The build up of contaminants and constant recycling of this dust eventually leads to more dust on your furniture which equates to more dusting and cleaning. Cut this time in half and get your ducts cleaned.
When you don’t get your ducts cleaned, the build up of dust and debris can clog your equipment causing it to have to compensate. In other words, your furnace & ac have to work that much harder. When your ductwork is clean, the system doesn’t have to work as hard, resulting in increased efficiency and less wear and tear.
Now that you know the benefits, you probably want to know what this process looks like.At West Michigan Air Duct & HVAC our process takes a crew of 2 people about 2-3 hours. We cut two 6-inch holes, one on the supply side, one on the return side. Next, we connect our 2 stage HEPA vacuum to the holes to create negative suction throughout the home. We then go to each individual vent with a compressed air hose and whip attachment. The whip attachment knocks all that dust off the interior wall and the compressed air hose blows everything down to the vacuum.
